Assistant Track & Field Coach - Sprints/Jumps

Justin was a successful track athlete at Gering High School winning 2 State titles in the triple jump and runner-up in the long jump.  He still has his High School record and many western Nebraska meet records.  Justin attended Doane College where he was a 2 time All-American in Triple Jump and National Runner-up.  He was a 3-time Mid-states Champion, as well as, winning multiple conferences titles.  He assisted Coach Ed Fye with several Doane college track camps.  Justin helped start North Star's track program in 2004 and continued coaching through the 2005 season.  During the 2006 track season, Justin coached at Bellevue West High School where he is currently employed as a Physical Education Teacher.  Justin has a great knowledge about sport specific training and incorporates enthusiasm and encouragement in all of his camps and clinics.
